Bio
Daniela Marin was named an assistant women's soccer coach at Dallas College Brookhaven in August 2023. She works with goalkeepers.
In 2023, she was a member of a team that won the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III championship as the Bears went 15-2-1, while capturing the Dallas Athletic Conference and South District championships along the way. She was a member of a staff that was named the United Soccer Coaches East Region Coaching Staff of the Year.
Marin spent three years coaching at Liberty Christian High School from 2020-23. In 2022 and 2023, she coached District Goalkeepers of the Year. In 2020, the Warriors advanced to the state playoffs for the first time in school history.
Marin played at Texas Woman's University in 2018-19. She was part of the first team in program history to advance to the NCAA Division II Tournament in 2019. She started all 21 games between the posts as a senior, going 14-4-1, recording eight shutouts and two combined shutouts with 77 saves, a 0.90 goals against average and an .802 saves percentage.
She played at Brookhaven from 2016-17, earning National Junior College Athletic Association Division III First Team All-America honors both years. Marin was a two-time All-Metro Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Year. The Bears won the 2017 national championship as she went 13-3-1 with four shutouts and three combined shutouts, a 0.92 GAA, 60 saves and a .779 saves percentage.
Marin graduated with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Texas Woman's University in 2020.
