History

Dallas College Brookhaven men's basketball program began play with the opening of Brookhaven College in the 1978-79 season. The Bears won Metro Athletic Conference championships in 1995, 2008 (co-champions) and 2012. Brookhaven made National Junior College Athletic Association Division III National Tournament appearances in 1991 and 1995.
