History

Dallas College Brookhaven's baseball program began play with the opening of the college in the 1978-79 season. The Bears won Metro Athletic Conference titles in 2013, 2017 and 2018. The team has made appearances in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III World Series in 2013 and 2019. The Bears finished third at the 2019 NJCAA DIII World Series, winning a school-record 42 games. The Bears were in first place in Dallas Athletic Conference play at the COVID-19 shutdown in the spring of 2020. The Bears won the 2021 DAC title.
