Antovoni Earns USC Second Team All-America Honor

UNITED SOCCER COACHES ALL-AMERICANS
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Dallas College Brookhaven's Gianna Antovoni was named a Second Team All-American by the United Soccer Coaches.
A freshman midfielder from McKinney, Texas, Antovoni scored nine goals, and had nine assists for 27 points in helping lead the Bears to the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III semifinals. She had five multi-point games, including a two-goal performance in a win over Dallas College Eastfield. She had two assists, while also scoring once, in a win over Dallas College Mountain View. She recorded at least a point in four straight games on two occasions.
Antovoni was an NJCAA Division III First Team All-American after being named the Dallas Athletic Conference Most Valuable Player. She also earned First Team All-DAC distinction.
Antovoni and Kate Carlson earned USC All-East Region honors. Carlson scored six goals, including two against Eastfield.
