Ipina Named United Soccer Coaches Player of Week

KANSAS CITY, Missouri -- Dallas College Brookhaven's Natalie Ipina was selected as the United Soccer Coaches Player of the Week.
A sophomore forward from Dallas, Ipina marked her scoring debut during the Bears' first conference game of the season. She netted Brookhaven's final two goals in the 80th and 84th minutes with clinical finishing. Ipina's aggressive play on the right wing created chaos for Dallas College North Lake's defense, and she also contributed an assist to her namesake, Natalie Lopez, for one of her goals.
In total, Ipina concluded the game with three shots, two on target, two goals and one assist.
No. 2-ranked Brookhaven plays at No. 5 Dallas College Richland Tuesday night.
