Chris McGill was named head men's basketball at Dallas College Brookhaven in 2017.

Returning to Brookhaven was a homecoming of sorts for McGill as he played for the team during his time as a student. His time coaching began first as a volunteer, and then as an assistant coach with the Bears, but his 20-year coaching career has included stops at other two- and four-year colleges.

McGill spent four years as the head coach at Murray State College in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.

He possesses a master’s degree in exercise and sports science from New Mexico Highlands University.
