Brookhaven Men's Basketball Tips Off Season Nov. 1
FARMERS BRANCH, Texas – Dallas College Brookhaven men's basketball team will open the season Nov. 1 at Frank Phillips College.
The Bears' home opener is set for Nov. 5 against Dallas Christian College. It is the only home game in November for the Bears. They play 12 of their first 13 games on the road.
Brookhaven will make a trip to South Arkansas Nov. 7-8 for games against South Arkansas Community College and Southern Arkansas University Tech. The following weekend, the Bears head back to Arkansas for the Pioneer Classic at North Arkansas College to play the host Pioneers and Fort Scott Community College. The Bears will compete in the Western Texas Classic Nov. 21-23 for games against WTC, National Park College and Howard College. They finish the first month with a road game at Grayson College Nov. 26.
The Bears return home Dec. 2 to play Western Oklahoma State College. They begin the three-round Dallas Athletic Conference schedule at home against Dallas College Richland Dec. 4. Following road games at Dallas College Eastfield Dec. 7 and Dallas College Cedar Valley Dec. 11, they host Dallas College North Lake Dec. 14 before wrapping up the opening round of league play at Dallas College Mountain View Dec. 18.
After the holiday break, Brookhaven will host Loyalty College Prep Jan. 13. The Bears begin the second round of DAC play Jan. 18 at Richland. They host Eastfield and Cedar Valley on Jan. 22 and Jan. 25, and Mountain View Feb. 1. The third round of conference play is set for Feb. 8 at home against Richland. The Bears host North Lake Feb. 19 in the final regular season home game before concluding the regular season at Mountain View Feb. 22.
The National Junior College Athletic Association District Tournament is scheduled for Feb. 25-March 1.
