Boedeker Earns DAC Player of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Brookhaven's Bradley Boedeker earned the Dallas Athletic Conference Baseball Player of the Week award.

A freshman third baseman from College Station, Texas, Boedeker batted .545, going 6 for 11 with four doubles, two RBI, two runs scored, a stolen base and two walks as the Bears won a three-game series with No. 2 nationally-ranked Dallas College Eastfield. He was 3 for 3 with a double, and drove in two runs in a 12-4 win over the Harvester Bees. Boedeker collected three more doubles in a 7-2 win to clinch the series.

Boedeker is hitting .365 with 15 doubles and 23 RBI this season.

Brookhaven (21-18, 9-6 DAC) plays at Seminole State College 1 p.m. Monday before beginning the second half of conference play in the series opener at Dallas College North Lake (16-23, 7-8) noon Wednesday.
