Brookhaven Baseball Releases 2025 Schedule
FARMERS BRANCH, Texas – Dallas College Brookhaven's baseball team will open the season Jan. 24 at Ranger College.
The Bears, who 26-28 overall, 16-14 in the Dallas Athletic Conference last season to finish third in the league before advancing to the second round of the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III South Central District Tournament, will play a three-game series at Ranger before entertaining The Complete Showcase Post Grad in the home opener Jan. 31.
Brookhaven is scheduled to play 27 of its 56 games at home. The Bears have home games scheduled against Paris Junior College (Feb. 3), State Fair Community College (Feb. 15), Frank Phillips College (Feb. 21-22) and Seminole State College (Feb. 24) before hosting Dallas College North Lake in the Dallas Athletic Conference opener Feb. 26.
After a three-game series with last year's South Central District Tournament champion Dallas College Richland – the final two games at home – the Bears host Joliet Junior College March 13, and then following Spring Break, bring in Angelina College for a double header March 18 prior to resuming conference action at home against Dallas College Mountain View the next day.
Brookhaven will wrap up the first round of DAC play in a three-game series with three-time national runner-up Dallas College Eastfield April 2-5 before going on the road for its final nonconference game at Seminole State April 7. The second round of conference play begins April 9 at North Lake. The Bears host the Blazers for the final two games of that series April 11-12. They host Mountain View on back-to-back days April 25-26 to end a series and open another with Dallas College Cedar Valley April 30 at home. Brookhaven plays its first three games in May on the road with back-to-back trips to Cedar Valley and Game 1 of the final league series at Eastfield. The Bears close the regular season at home with Eastfield May 9-10.
The NJCAA Division district tournament is scheduled for May 14-17.
