Dinscore Chosen as NJCAA DIII Player of Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Dallas College Brookhaven's Bo Dinscore was chosen as the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Player of the Week.

A sophomore first baseman from Georgetown, Texas, Dinscore had career day against Dallas College North Lake, bashing three home runs, including a grand slam, as the Bears went 1-2 last week. He was 5-for-5 in the three-homer game, and drove in five runs. Dinscore hit safely in all three games of the series against the Blazers, which Brookhaven won the second game.

Entering Wednesday's series opener against Dallas College Cedar Valley, Dinscore is batting .381 with 10 home runs, 17 doubles and 45 runs batted in.

Brookhaven (20-25, 11-13 Dallas Athletic Conference) will play the final two games of the series against Cedar Valley (29-21, 9-15) in Lancaster Friday and Saturday.
