Dinscore Selected as DAC Hitter of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Brookhaven's Bo Dinscore was selected as the Dallas Athletic Conference Hitter of the Week.

It is the second time this season he's won the award.

A sophomore first baseman from Georgetown, Texas, Dinscore batted .692, going 9-for-13 with three home runs, two doubles, seven runs batted in, five runs scored and two walks. He went 5-for-5 with all three of his home runs in the Game 2 series victory over Dallas College North Lake. One of the homers was a grand slam, and he drove in five runs in that game. He hit safely in all three games of the series, which the Bears dropped 2-1.

Dinscore is batting .381 with 10 home runs, 17 doubles and 45 RBI this season. He's hit six of his 10 home runs, and driven in 14 runs against North Lake this season -- both weeks he was named the DAC Hitter of the Week.

Brookhaven (20-25, 11-13 DAC) will host Dallas College Cedar Valley (27-21, 9-15) at noon Wednesday to begin a three-game series.
