Dinscore Named DAC Hitter of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Brookhaven's Bo Dinscore was named the Dallas Athletic Conference Hitter of the Week.

A sophomore first baseman from Georgetown, Texas, Dinscore batted .500 (6-for-12) with three home runs, a double, seven runs batted in, seven runs scored and three walks, including two intentional passes in Saturday's series-clinching finale – a 9-7 win in 10 innings for the Bears. He went 3-for-5 with two homers and five RBI in the 17-11 Game 2 victory. Dinscore was 2-for-3 with a double, a home run and two RBI in the 10-9 loss in Game 1. He was 1-for-4 with the two intentional walks in the Game 3 victory as Brookhaven captured its first DAC series of the season.

Dinscore is hitting .368 with seven home runs, eight doubles and 28 RBI this season. His seven homers are tied for third among National Junior College Athletic Association Division III leaders. He's hit safely in his last four games. 

Brookhaven (12-16, 3-6 DAC) meets Dallas College Cedar Valley (17-11, 3-6) on the road noon Wednesday to begin a three-game series. The series is set for Wednesday-Friday due to Holy Week this week.
