Bears Earn Three All-America Honors

ALL-AMERICANS

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Dallas College Brookhaven's Brooke Tyler, McKenzie Mitchell and Holland Hickman earned National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Volleyball All-America honors.

Tyler and Mitchell were named First Team All-Americans. Hickman was named a Third Team All-American.

A sophomore setter, Tyler had 1063 assists, which ranked third in the nation. Her 9.49 assists per set ranked sixth. She also had 288 digs, 45 aces and 39 blocks.

A sophomore outside hitter, Mitchell had 364 kills, 389 digs, 45 aces and 22 blocks. She ranked eighth in the country in kills.

A sophomore middle blocker, Hickman had 240 kills, 121 blocks and 31 aces. She ranked sixth in the nation in blocks.
