Dalton Wason was named pitching coach at Dallas College Brookhaven prior to the 2025 season.

In his first season with the Bears in 2025, Brookhaven went 34-26 overall, 20-10 in the Dallas Athletic Conference. It was the program's most wins in six years. The Bears advanced to the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III South Central District semifinals. Pitchers Oliver Overlin and Clayten Mixon earned First Team All-DAC honors, while Christian Jaquay and Nathan Jacobson received Second Team All-DAC awards. Overlin was second in the nation with 10 wins.
