Brookhaven Remains No. 1 in National Poll

NJCAA DIII RANKINGS

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Dallas College Brookhaven women's soccer team remained No. 1 in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III poll this week.

The Bears received five first place votes and 50 points in the second regular season poll this year. Brookhaven (1-2-0) received five more points than Genesee (N.Y.) Community College, which moved up a spot from No. 3. Delta College is No. 3 in this week's rankings, having moved up a spot.

Brookhaven is one of three Dallas Athletic Conference schools in the rankings. Dallas College Richland (1-0-1) remained No. 5. Dallas College Cedar Valley (2-1-0) is receiving votes.

The Bears are coming off a weekend trip to Mississippi, having played two NJCAA Division II top 3-ranked schools.
